Notes from eLearning Caucus/NCTET/Intel Briefing: Ensuring Student Security While Encouraging Innovation in K-12 Education

Summary

On July 30th, the National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training (NCTET) hosted 90 policymakers, educators, and industry representatives for a wide-ranging discussion on two key elements of President Obama’s ConnectEd Initiative—the E-Rate program/FCC Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) and professional development.  

The National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training (NCTET) released Profiles in Innovation: How the Enhancing Education Through Technology Program is Improving Teaching and Learning in America. The technology learning initiatives in the NCTET profiles each leveraged critical federal investment to transform teaching and better prepare students for this digital age.
